International Spyro Grand Prix 2 (aka ISGP 2) was the follow-up of the original International Spyro Grand Prix that occurred in 2018. Like the first, it was a Spyro the Dragon themed tournament hosted by Nintendogen64 and CrystalFissure.
Progress
- The tournament was announced on April 5, 2020, and became open for competitors to sign up.
- Round 1 started on April 11, 2020, and concluded on June 5th.
Special Rules
These are the rules that specifically apply to this tournament. For the general rules, see General Rules.
Tournament progression
Unlike most tournaments, this one had TWO Group stages instead of one. This means competitors would do at least two matches during the first two rounds of the tournament.
In Round 1, competitors were placed into four (4) Groups of nine (9), with the top four advancing to the next Round.
In Round 2, competitors were again placed into four (4) Groups, this time of four (4). In Round 2 however, the top two advanced to the Semi-Finals while the bottom two partook in the 4-way Crassic Championship match.
In the Semi-Finals, it would be composed of four (4) 1v1 matches. The winners of each advanced to the Grand Final to see who will earn the ISGP Champion title.
Match Points
During the Group Stages, players competed to win matches and earn points in their group. Similar to ISGP 1, the following points were awarded:
- Win - 2 points
- Draw - 1 point
- Lose - 0 points
Accepted Games
Despite the ISGP being a Spyro the Dragon tournament, exceptions were made for the specific games that are allowed to be run. These games were as follows:

Stage 2 began after the end of the Semi-Finals. The victors from Stage 1 faced the losers from the Semi-Finals in another four (4) 1v1 matches. The winners of these four matches proceeded to the Crassic Speedrunning Championship.

Stage 3 - Crassic Speedrunning Championship #1 Contender Match
The last stage of Crassic Championship League composed of the winners of Stage 2. This final stage would determine who would receive the prize: the #1 Contendership for the Crassic Speedrunning Championship.
The game was announced for the Crassic Final: Spyro X Sparx: Tondemo Tours (Spyro 2 Japanese). However, both Luke and Tooney were extremely busy. After it became evident a live race would be arduous to organize, the decision was made to get all competitors to record their sides of the race independently. Both TK & Danta managed to do a non-live recording of the race, before both Tooney and Luke withdrew. TK had reportedly the better time out of his and Danta's recordings. However, due to the fact half of the race's competitors were not competing, the call was made to cancel this match for ISGP2 and this race would not decide the Crassic Speedrunning Champion.
The Crassic Championship was intended to be repurposed as a match card for an event held after Orb Struggle, where Danta, TK & g4video5 would compete in a race for the Championship.
However, things would change again when on the 15th of September 2020: It was announced that this match featuring g4video5, Danta and TK would be the Crassic League Final for ISGP2, and would be a medley of all 3 original trilogy Spyro games.
